Dear Dan and NYT
Please accept our heartfelt thanks for your donation in support of the 13th Annual Hudson Valley Triathlon. Thanks to the generosity of all the contributors, nearly $5,000 was raised and has already been sent to The Queens Galley. Director Diane Reader tells us that these funds will pay for a month's worth of food for their kitchen. With the less fortunate facing ever growing challenges to feed themselves and their families, your lending a hand is important in the most direct and tangible way. Thank you again!

Sincerely,
Paul J. VanBlarcum
Sheriff of Ulster County

 Dear Dan and NYT
On behalf of The Queens Galley Food Pantry I would like to thank you for your work in helping the Queens Galley through the Hudson Valley Triathlon. This extraordinary contribution comes at a time of critical need and I would like you to know that we are truly grateful for this most generous gift.
Your effor in putting this event together was nothing short of heroic. Time, energy and dedication expended to provide a successful event for participants was matched by your commitment to raising funds for those in need. It is clear that you were triumphant in all endeavors!
The Queens Galley now serves over 7,000 meals each month. It is not unrealistic to anticipate serving 10,000 meals at some point during the coming winter season and the only way we will meet this demand is by the efforts of peopke like the event sponsors, Sheriff Paul VanBlarcum and yourself.
Again, I thank you for choosing the Queens Galley as the benficiary of the Hudson Valley Triathlon and for your support in the Queens Galley mission to feed the Hudson Valley hungry....one meal at a time.

With Gratitude
Diane Reeder
Executive Director

Dear Dan and NYT,
I just got back from the Hudson Valley Triathlon.
Thank you for putting on such a well organized top notch event. Under trying conditions with the weather, it was still a fantastic event due to the excellent organization and race preparation. Police, volunteers and your staff had everything under control. Safety was never an issue despite the driving rain storm.
It is really a fantastic venue/course and your expertise and experience shows when the conditions get as nasty as they were.
Everyone I talked to during and after the race had a great time and that is attributable to the great job you did!
Thanks for everything.

Dear Dan and NYT,
Congratulaions on yet another superb Hudson Valley Tri/Bi-Athlon..
I have competed in numerous numerous national and international championship duathlon/biathlon races around the world.
The events organized by New York Triathlon are consistently on par with the best that the sport has to offer.
The courses are always interesting and challenging and the support of volunteers, support personnel and law enforcement agencies is always excellent.
Yesterday's event was a classic example.  Your ability to secure major roadways appears to be unique to multi-sport competition. This is in contrast to the many "corporate park" and "middle of nowhere" farmland races that I hace competed in.
Although I participate in triathlons, your run/bike/run biathlons are my true love. Your continuing support of this sport is greatly appreciated.
Thank you again and best wishes for your continued success.
Sincerely,
John McGovern

To Dan and NYT,
I would like to thank NYT for all your efforts in putting on the 10th Annual Hudson Valley Tri/Bi-Athlon..
The weather could not have been better and the day was absolutley great. It was a new experience for me competing as an "individual" and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The race has been the highlight of my race season for many years and each year I eagerly look forward to competing in it.
I compete in many events throughout the year and the Hudson Valley Triathlon is by far the best run and best supported event in the Tri-State area.
I can't wait until next year.
Best wishes,
Michael Albrecht  - New York, NY
