2024 Season is Here!

What’s up, New York! The 2024 race season is finally here! We have been extremely busy and hard at work to bring more quality triathlons and duathlons to all New Yorkers. Even the website had a facelift! Your new Race Directors, George and Hunter, of the Beasts From Riis Triathlon Club, are taking over the organization and can’t wait to show you what they’ve been working on.
They will continue to carry the spirit of our most recent beloved Race Director, Ron Darress, and to make our sport more accessible to everyone, in particular to all New Yorkers. Here are a few words from our new Race Directors, George and Hunter leading up to our first race on March 24th, the March Classic Duathlon.

Our 2024 race schedule is up! Go check it out if you haven’t done so already. Here is our entire schedule with all the registration links! So far, we have a tentative date for our Alpine Marina Triathlon/Duathlon, in the gorgeous Palisades Park, NJ. The date will be announced once we have finalized it.

Mary Consiglio
We sit down with Mary, a member of the Beasts From Riis Triathlon Club! Mary is a born and bred New Yorker AND athlete, an avid runner since elementary school all the way through her time at Manhattan College. Like so many of us, Mary picked up cycling during 2020 and fell in love with the sport. From her first duathlon with NYTRI to cycling the ENTIRE Empire State Trail from NYC to Canada, Mary is one heck of a competitor!!!
Jason Wong
We sit down with Jason and to find out why he loves our sport! Jason loves to swim, bike & run, but what he loves most is to challenge himself! Check out his story and say hi next time you see him zipping past you on the Midland Beach boardwalk or at IM Maryland (this guy loves Maryland)! 🦀
