transition Map

Transition map is for both triathlon and duathlon.  The location is by the comfort/bathroom station/pavilion next to the beach run off area.

• Blue Arrows are the swim portion of the triathlon.  Is 400 meters long, 200/200 out and back, swimming north of the Hudson River.
• Green Arrows are the bike portion of the triathlon and duathlon.  The total distance is 10 miles, riding across the parking lot and onto the Henry Hudson Dr.  The turn around point is by the Dyckman Hill Rd.  Just a bit under 5 miles each way.  Is out and back.  Over 300ft+ elevation gain in total.  Enough undulating hills.
• Red Arrows are the run portion for the triathlon and duathlon.  The first run for the duathlon is 1.5 miles.  The second run portion of the duathlon is the same as the triathlon run portion, 3 miles long.  Out and back onto the Henry Hudson Dr as well.
• The Star is the start of the duathlon 1st run and the finish for both triathlon and duathlon.
